About this Project

The Challenge:

Putting a legal second suite in a new build requires some major planning and a whole lot of extra work. This home comes equipped with 2 of everything! The second suite has its very own furnace, a/c, HRV, hot water tank and laundry. It is completely fire-rated and sound proofed and has enormous basement windows to meet lighting requirements. Now that the work is done this home has an income suite that is SAFE, COMFORTABLE and LEGAL bringing loads of extra value to the home!

“The lakeview house was a really fun project for me because of all the freedom I was given as the Designer. I had a blank canvas to choose whichever style of design that I wanted.

I decided on cool calming colours and a modern restful design for the interior. On the exterior I went for a bold west coast vibe that I absolutely love and overall I am thrilled with how it all turned out!
